Ep. 047- Jennifer Hazelwood: How Not Second Guessing Your Passion Can Catapult Your Artistic Career

Alexis Fedor

Jennifer Hazelwood: How Not Second Guessing Your Passion Can Catapult Your Artistic CareerJennifer Hazelwood has been a dance instructor for over 16 years. In 2011 she started a dance program in a private school, Cape Henry Collegiate, for ages Pre-K through high school. This program went from zero to over 100 students in under a year and is a growing part of the performing arts in the school. In September of 2015 (along with her husband, Wayne), Jennifer opened her own dance studio, First Landing Dance Center. FLDC has regular classes as well as a competitive dance team that has already won national titles. The team is looking forward to an exciting and successful 2nd year! She was also one of my closest and dearest friends in undergrad, where we were dance majors together.

For any artist who doubts they can fulfill the vision they have in their hearts by starting a business with your art, this conversation will surely convince you otherwise.
